The Drama of Evangelical Hermeneutics Conference in honor of Kevin J. Vanhoozer

Kevin J. Vanhoozer is today's leading evangelical theologian of biblical interpretation and one of the most influential voices in contemporary hermeneutics. In academic theology, he is also one of his generation's most influential evangelicals. This conference honors Vanhoozer, a longtime TEDS faculty member, by representing the current state of evangelical hermeneutics in light of his work. This two-day event will include three main sessions, addressing the biblical script, great performances, and theodrama today. Each session contains wide-ranging contributions from well-known scholars who address important topics for contemporary hermeneutics in dialogue with Vanhoozer's influential work.

This conference is hosted by Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and made possible by generous donors, especially the Knoedler Chair at Wheaton College.
